Youth Theater Summer School

Long Beach Playhouse Youth Theater Summer School is a rigorously fun two-week performing arts school. Students entering Third Grade through High School receive age appropriate training in Acting, Movement, Text Analysis, Improvisation, Shakespeare and much more! NEW THIS YEAR: Offering two sessions this summer!!!

This is a unique opportunity for students of all experience levels to develop their creativity and confidence in a highly professional environment. Our exceptional faculty is comprised of professional actors, directors, playwrights and theater educators. Supporting our faculty are committed collegiate and graduate students in theater. We offer some of the finest theater training available to the youth of Long Beach.

Youth Theater Summer School for 2010:

Mon through Fri, from 9:00am to 3:00pm

First Session: Jul 12 – Jul 23, 2010 with a Morning Showcase Performance Jul 24^th

Second Session: Jul 26 – Aug 6 with a Morning Showcase Performance Aug 7th

Special Interest Daily Workshops (SIDW) available from 3:00 – 5:00pm for an additional $100 per session.

Cost:
$300 for each session. (9am-3pm)
$100 additional per session for SIDW from 3-5pm

(Includes T-Shirt and Materials)

Discount for families with more than one student ($25 off first student, $20 off second and so forth). Student discount is offered only to students living in the same household. Space is limited.
