During the Christmas Eve tradition of telling ghost stories, a man with a slight limp and cane recounts the tale he insists is completely true. Ebenezer Scrooge, a miserly man who has cut himself off from humanity, is visited by the ghost of an old colleague, followed by three more spirits. Can past memories, the presence of Christmas, and visions of a dark future be enough to influence Scrooge to re-enter the world and make the impact on all around him, including a young boy who struggles to walk?
