The Studio Collaborative: THEIR KNUCKLES WERE MARRED FOREVER
Company: Bloody Knux Fight Choreography
Dates: March 6, 7 @ 8pm, 2020.
A series of vignettes, ranging from Hawai’i in 1795 to Orion’s Shoulder in 8020, that explore how certain situations can reach emotional boiling points, culminating in violence. What led to these acts of violence? What happens to those involved afterwards? And how does love connect all the stories therein?
BLOODY KNUX FIGHT CHOREOGRAPHY (Bloody Knux Fight Team) designs action, collaborating with actors in the local theatre and film community through safe and proper training, familiarization, team building, and fitness, culminating in fully choreographed fight sequences for theatre, film, or just for fun.
The Bloody Knux Fight Team started in Hilo, Hawai’i in 2017, primarily for student film projects, and then integrated stage combat for Hilo Community Players, Waimea Community Theatre, and several productions for the University of Hawai’i at Hilo Performing Arts Center.
