SUMMARY:THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK
DESCRIPTION:THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK\nBy Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett\, newly adapted by Wendy Kesselman\nApril 8 – May 6\, 2023\nDirected by Phyllis B. Gitlin\nIn this undeniably moving new adaptation\, Anne Frank emerges from history\, a living\, lyrical\, intensely gifted young girl\, who confronts her rapidly changing life and the increasing horror of her time with astonishing honesty\, wit\, and determination. Anne’s voice shines through in this impassioned drama about the lives of eight people hiding from the Nazis in a concealed storage attic\, as it captures the claustrophobic realities of their daily existence—their fear\, their hope\, their laughter\, their grief. This is a powerful new adaptation for a new generation  that never lets us forget the inhuman darkness waiting to claim its incandescently human heroine. \n  \nCHOOSE A DATE:\nThis Production Closed May 6\, 2023 \nCOVID Patron Safety Protocol\n\nMasks are strongly encouraged to be worn inside the theatre spaces\, but are not required except for special performances.\nMasks are required for those coughing and sneezing\nMasks are available for any patron or volunteer who would like or need one\n\nThis Show Contains:\nScenes of Intense Historical Trauma \nAct One is Approx. 1 hr.\nThere will be a 15 Minute Intermission\nAct Two is Approx. 50 Mins.\n  \nSHOW TRAILER:\n \nPREVIEW CLIP:\n \nPERFORMANCE PHOTO GALLERY:\n\n \n \n \n \n THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK (MAINSTAGE\, APRIL 8 – MAY 6\, 2023)\nPHOTO 1: Vita Muccia (ANNE FRANK)\, Rick Reischman (OTTO FRANK)\n(Michael Hardy Photography)\n \n \n \n \n \n THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK (MAINSTAGE\, APRIL 8 – MAY 6\, 2023)\nPHOTO 2: Andrea Stradling (EDITH FRANK)\, Stephen Saatjian (MR.
