Gitlin\nIn this adaptation of Agatha Christie’s debut novel\, it’s 1917\, and with the Great War raging on the Continent\, philanthropist Emily Inglethorp helps resettle war refugees in the English countryside. Among them is Hercule Poirot\, formerly of the Belgian police\, and Arthur Hastings\, a wounded soldier on leave. When someone is murdered at her country estate\, Poirot must use his “little grey cells” to unravel the motives of an enigmatic husband\, a cash-strapped stepson\, a doctor expert in poison\, and the rest of the dubious household. These three go on a life-changing ride over 48 hours\, not only coming of age in their own right\, but making huge choices\, smoking a lot of pot\, and diving headfirst into what the real world can be\, learning very quickly that even the best-laid plans can come with serious consequences.  \nCompany Statement:\nLittle Renegade Productions is an independent production company presenting film\, theatre\, original music\, and stories through emotional integrity and artistic truth.  \nThe LBP Studio Collaborative Season offers outside\, local theatre companies and performing arts organizations the opportunity to produce their own shows in our Studio Theater.
