Owen.  The guests are all greeted with accusations of murder… and an old nursery rhyme.  Alone on the island with no way back\, the guests are killed off one by one in the manner of the rhyme. They quickly realize that the killer must be among them.  Will they discover who\, and will anyone escape the island before it’s too late? \nCASTING THE FOLLOWING ROLES:\nNOTE: All roles require a standard British Accent. \nVERA CLAYTHORNE: (F\, late 20s – early 30s). The personal secretary for Mrs. Owen\, she was just hired and has never met her employer. Intelligent and capable. Haunted by her past\, she was formerly a governess. Accused of being responsible for the drowning death of her young charge. (Role requires a standard British Accent.) \nSIR LAWRENCE WARGRAVE: (M\, late 60s plus) Retired Judge.  Sharp and insightful\, fatherly and stern. He leads the investigation into the murders on the island.  Accused of knowingly sentencing an innocent man to death. (Role requires a standard British Accent.) \nPHILIP LOMBARD: (M 30s to 40s) Former officer in the King’s African Rifles\, he arrives on the island with a revolver.  Used to getting in and out of dangerous situations.  Sardonic and skeptical\, he is very cool under fire and ready with a snide comment.  Has a strong connection to Vera.  Accused of abandoning his men to die in the jungle to save himself. (Role requires a standard British Accent.) \nWILLIAM BLORE: (M\, 40s to 50s) Former policeman hired by Mr. Owen\, he at first presents himself as a South African Gold Baron.  Quickly discovered\, he forms an uneasy alliance with Lombard to try and survive the Island.  He is both too quick to suspect everyone of being the killer and too trusting when he is convinced otherwise.  Accused of knowingly giving false testimony in court causing an innocent man to die in prison. (Role requires a not terribly good South African accent in addition to standard British Accent.) \nDR. ARMSTRONG: (M\, late 40s to late 50s) Former surgeon and current nerve specialist. Nervous and distrustful\, and clearly troubled by his past\, suspicion quickly turns to him due to his knowledge of medications.  Accused of operating while intoxicated\, causing the death of the patient. (Role requires a standard British Accent.) \nGENERAL MACKENZIE: (M\, 65 plus) Widowed General who served in the First World War.  Calm and accepting of his fate\, he speaks of joining his late wife in death.  Accused of sending his wife’s lover\, an officer under his command\, on a suicide mission during the war. Unapologetically religious and believes the others will have to face judgment for their sins. Accused of driving her maid to suicide after discovering her out-of-wedlock pregnancy. (Role requires a standard British Accent.) \nMR. ROGERS: (M\, 40s to 60s) Butler recently hired by Mr. Owen to run his Island house.  Dedicated to his work and aware of his place on the social ladder\, he continues his duties even after his wife’s demise.  Accused of causing the death of his former employer due to neglect.  (Role requires a standard British Accent.) \nMRS. ROGERS: (F\, 40s to 60s) Nervous and frightened cook and wife to Mr. Rogers.   Screams and faints upon hearing the accusations against her and her husband.  (Role requires a standard British Accent.) \nANTHONY MARSTON: (M\, 20s to early 30s) Wealthy and spoiled young man.  Reckless driver who enjoys speed.  Gregarious and loud and always ready for a party.  Accused of hitting and killing two children with his car.  (Role requires a standard British Accent.) \nFRED NARRACOTT: (M\, 40s to 70s) The Boatman and island caretaker.  Full of local knowledge\, he supplies the island and brings all the guests over from the mainland.  Not accused of anything.  (Role requires a standard British Accent.) \nBEGINNING REHEARSAL SCHEDULE:\n\n\nAnd Then There Were None Beg.
