SUMMARY:Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo
DESCRIPTION:*Advisory: Adult content and language \nWithin war-torn Baghdad\, lives a tiger – a wild\, captive beast within a man-made cage.  Through the power of theatrical imagination\, we are allowed a peek inside the mind of this quick-witted and well-spoken “animal\,” as the lives of two American Marines and an Iraqi translator are forever changed by the mayhem surrounding them in the midst of war. Violence\, anger\, greed\, forgiveness\, and redemption are examined in funny\, touching\, and insightful exchanges between man and beast; the living and the dead. Rajiv Joseph’s groundbreaking new American play explores both the power and the perils of human nature\, the search for freedom\, and the existence of the after-life. \nCAST: \nNoah Wagner – TIGER\nLee Samuel Tanng – TOM\nJeff Rolle Jr. – KEV\nBradley Roa II – MUSA\nAngel Correa – UDAY\nCaitlyn Cappadona – IRAQI TEENAGER/HADIA\nAnisa Ann Marie – IRAQI WOMAN \n  \nPlayground Code \n  \nOUR OFFICIAL TRAILER \n \n  \nPREVIEW REHEARSAL PHOTO GALLERY: \n\nPRESS AND PERFORMANCE PHOTO GALLERY: \n\n \n \n \n \n BENGAL TIGER AT THE BAGHDAD ZOO (STUDIO\, May 3\, 2015 – May 30\, 2015)\nPHOTO 1: Noah Wagner (TIGER)\n(Michael Hardy Photography)\n \n \n \n \n \n BENGAL TIGER AT THE BAGHDAD ZOO (STUDIO\, May 3\, 2015 – May 30\, 2015)\nPHOTO 2: Noah Wagner (TIGER)\, Lee Samuel Tanng (TOM)\, Jeff Rolle Jr. (KEV)\n(Michael Hardy Photography)\n \n \n \n \n \n BENGAL TIGER AT THE BAGHDAD ZOO (STUDIO\, May 3\, 2015 – May 30\, 2015)\nPHOTO 3: Jeff Rolle Jr. (KEV)\, Noah Wagner (TIGER)\n(Michael Hardy Photography)\n \n \n \n \n \n BENGAL TIGER AT THE BAGHDAD ZOO (STUDIO\, May 3\, 2015 – May 30\, 2015)\nPHOTO 4: Bradley Roa II (MUSA)\, Jeff Rolle Jr. (KEV)\n(Michael Hardy Photography)\n \n \n \n \n \n BENGAL TIGER AT THE BAGHDAD ZOO (STUDIO\, May 3\, 2015 – May 30\, 2015)\nPHOTO 5: Bradley Roa II (MUSA)\, Jeff Rolle Jr. (KEV)\, Anisa Ann Marie (IRAQI WOMAN)\n(Michael Hardy Photography)\n \n \n \n \n \n BENGAL TIGER AT THE BAGHDAD ZOO (STUDIO\, May 3\, 2015 – May 30\, 2015)\nPHOTO 6: Jeff Rolle Jr. (KEV)\, Noah Wagner (TIGER) \n(Michael Hardy Photography)\n \n \n \n \n \n BENGAL TIGER AT THE BAGHDAD ZOO (STUDIO\, May 3\, 2015 – May 30\, 2015)\nPHOTO 7: Noah Wagner (TIGER)\, Jeff Rolle Jr. (KEV)\, Lee Samuel Tanng (TOM)\n(Michael Hardy Photography)\n \n \n \n \n \n BENGAL TIGER AT THE BAGHDAD ZOO (STUDIO\, May 3\, 2015 – May 30\, 2015)\nPHOTO 8: Angel Correa (UDAY/IRAQI MAN)\, Bradley Roa II (MUSA)\n(Michael Hardy Photography)\n \n \n \n \n \n BENGAL TIGER AT THE BAGHDAD ZOO (STUDIO\, May 3\, 2015 – May 30\, 2015)\nPHOTO 9: Bradley Roa II (MUSA)\, Caitlyn Cappadona (HADIA/IRAQI TEENAGER)\, Angel Correa (UDAY/IRAQI MAN)\n(Michael Hardy Photography)\n \n \n \n \n \n BENGAL TIGER AT THE BAGHDAD ZOO (STUDIO\, May 3\, 2015 – May 30\, 2015)\nPHOTO 10: Lee Samuel Tanng (TOM)\, Anisa Ann Marie (IRAQI WOMAN)\, Jeff Rolle Jr. (KEV)\n(Michael Hardy Photography)\n \n \n \n \n \n BENGAL TIGER AT THE BAGHDAD ZOO (STUDIO\, May 3\, 2015 – May 30\, 2015)\nPHOTO 11: Bradley Roa II (MUSA)\, Caitlyn Cappadona (HADIA/IRAQI TEENAGER)\, Angel Correa (UDAY/IRAQI MAN)\n(Michael Hardy Photography)\n \n \n \n \n \n BENGAL TIGER AT THE BAGHDAD ZOO (STUDIO\, May 3\, 2015 – May 30\, 2015)\nPHOTO 12: Noah Wagner (TIGER)\n(Michael Hardy Photography)\n \n \n \n \n \n BENGAL TIGER AT THE BAGHDAD ZOO (STUDIO\, May 3\, 2015 – May 30\, 2015)\nPHOTO 13: BACK ROW: Bradley Roa II (MUSA)\, Jeff Rolle Jr. (KEV)\, Noah Wagner (TIGER)\, Lee Samuel Tanng (TOM)\, Angel Correa (UDAY/IRAQI MAN)\, FRONT ROW: Anisa Ann Marie (IRAQI WOMAN)\, Caitlyn Cappadona (HADIA/IRAQI TEENAGER)\n(Michael Hardy Photography)\n \n \n\nVISIT THE FACEBOOK EVENT!

SUMMARY:LBP NWF WORKSHOP PRODUCTION: CHILDREN OF CAMELOT
DESCRIPTION:The Long Beach Playhouse presents: LBP NWF WORKSHOP PRODUCTION: CHILDREN OF CAMELOT \nTickets: $5.00 \nThe Workshop Production helps to bring a winning script to the next level. One play from the preceding year’s festival is chosen for a workshop performance in which the playwright\, director\, and cast all work together to make this the best script possible therefore continuing the play on it’s journey to publication. \nThe Playhouse is pleased to announce the playwright and play chosen for this year’s New Works Festival Workshop Production: Nakisa Aschtiani’s play Children of Camelot will be produced on April 17 & 18 as part of the Studio’s Collaborative Season. Welcome aboard\, Nakisa! \n\nSYNOPSIS:\nNovember 22\, 1963: President John F Kennedy is murdered.  Two days later\, his alleged assassin\, Lee Harvey Oswald\, is also murdered.  What if one of these men survived?  How would the lives of those around them be effected?  Children of Camelot is a character driven piece that takes an historical event and turns it on its head\, questions fairness\, and strives to show us how people handle pain under extraordinary circumstances.\n\n\n\nPlaywright\, Nakisa Aschtiani:\nNakisa Aschtiani graduated from California State University\, Fullerton with a BA in Theatre.  Currently\, she resides in Los Angeles\, but was raised in Southern Orange County.  The idea for Children of Camelot\, her first full-length play\, marinated in her head for a few years before she took pen to paper. Predominately working as an actor in Theatre\, she also spent time stage managing and directing before trying her hand at writing.  Her most recent Theatrical credits are “Roxane” in Cyrano de Bergerac at The Maverick in Fullerton and “Lydia” in Spike Heels at the Complex Theatre in Hollywood.  Nakisa is writing her second play and hopes to complete it by the end of this year.\n\n\nDirector\, Kate Woodruff:\nKate studied Psychology and Linguistics at UCLA. She seeks to create a viable home for the arts by supporting emerging playwrights.  In addition to her work with the New Works Festival at the Playhouse\, she is the production manager at Little Candle\, a theatre company in South Pasadena dedicated to producing new work.\n\n\nProducer\, Anna Kate Mohler:\n\nAnna Kate has been active at The Long Beach Playhouse for the last seven years.  She is an alumni of OCHSA\,  trained in NYC at The Actors Center and The Naked Angels School and is a graduate of the South Coast Repertory Adult Conservatory.  She currently works as a voice over producer in Los Angeles.\n\nPRESS AND PERFORMANCE PHOTO GALLERY:\n\n\n\n\nCHECKOUT THE FACEBOOK EVENT!
