DESCRIPTION:In this tragic masterpiece by Shakespeare\, Othello\, a powerful Moorish general\, elopes with the Venetian lady Desdemona\, inciting his envious friend Iago to put into motion a scheme to end their nuptial happiness through the poison of false accusations\, distrust\, rage\, and eventually murder.  With powerful themes of love\, jealously\, race\, and toxic masculinity\, the story of OTHELLO is just as relevant to our culture today as when it was written over 400 years ago. SUMMARY:HAIR
DESCRIPTION:Rediscover the wonders\, pains\, and joys within “the age of Aquarius.” HAIR celebrates the sixties counterculture in all its barefoot\, long-haired\, bell-bottomed\, beaded and fringed glory. With an infectiously energetic rock beat\, the show explores ideas of identity\, community\, global responsibility\, and peace\, as it remains as relevant as ever\, examining what it means to be a young person in a changing world.  Once a mirror held up to the explosive and experimental life of young people in the 1960s\, HAIR now provides all ages a microscopic view of the eternal struggle of youth finding their voice. \nThis Playhouse production will feature full frontal nudity\, simulated drug use\, adult language\, and other adult situations. Under 17 requires accompanying parent or adult guardian. \nCAST LIST:\n\nShannon Wynne (JEANIE)\nJacob Rachuy Stephenson (BERGER)\nLatonya Kitchen (DIONNE)\nJules Ronquillo (WOOF)\nCelia Ruskin SUMMARY:MISS BENNET: CHRISTMAS AT PEMBERLEY
DESCRIPTION:In this holiday sequel to Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice\, presented so successfully by LBP last season\, we now focus on Mary\, the middle sister in the Bennet household.  Utilizing the same droll humor and intellectual romantic spirit as the Austen classic\, enjoy a frolicking good time in this highly entertaining and warm-spirited welcome to the holiday season.  As the verbal sparring and intellectual challenges abound\, Mary Bennet breaks away from her past to discover the delicious possibilities introduced when an unexpected visitor appears for the holidays.  Classic manners are shattered as Mary embarks on a new life of her own. \nCAST LIST:\n\nGabrielle Jones (MARY BENNET)\nMichael Kaye (ARTHUR DE BOURGH)\nNori T.
