Sides from the script for cold readings will be provided at the auditions. \nSHORT SYNOPSIS: \nThe Jacksons are a nice middle-aged English couple whose best friends are their Canadian neighbors\, the Kroegers. All is well\, until a detective from Scotland Yard makes ever-increasing demands to use their home to trap a Soviet spy ring and implicates the Kroegers.  Should they betray their friends? And at what price? \nTime: Autumn and Winter\, 1960-61 \nCASTING THE FOLLOWING ROLES: \nBOB JACKSON (M – 40-50) Solid\, middle class business and family man. Outgoing\, affectionate. Dialect: English\, required. \nBARBARA JACKSON (F – 40-45) Sweet and somewhat naïve English housewife\, vulnerable.  Dialect: English required \n.JULIE JACKSON (F – 14-16)\, Their daughter. Young\, high-spirited\, devoted to “Aunt” Helen.  Dialect: English required. \nHELEN KROEGER (F – 40-50) Strong personality\, good sense of humor\, talkative.
