SUMMARY:THE CRIPPLE OF INISHMAAN
DESCRIPTION:Billy’s dream of getting away from the island of Inishmaan seems to come true when he gets the chance to meet Hollywood director Robert Flaherty as he comes to the neighboring island of Inishmore to film his next project. Will Billy have the chance to escape his tedious daily life and the casual meanness of the other inhabitants of this small Irish island\, or will it all go wrong? Find out in this very funny\, darkly comic tale from the playwright who brought us The Lieutenant of Inishmore and the recent Oscar-nominated film\, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing\, Missouri. McDonagh’s characters will entertain you as they balance on his famous tightrope of cruelty\, kindness\, humor\, and vulnerability. \nCAST:\n\nMary Price Moore (KATE)\nCarmen Tunis (EILEEN)\nKarl Schott (JOHNNYPATEENMIKE)\nDylan La Rocque (BILLY)\nRonan Walsh (BARTLEY)\nMakena Margolin (HELEN)\nPatrick Peterson (BABBYBOBBY)\nFloyd Harden (DOCTOR McSHARRY)\nKip Hogan (MAMMY)\n\n  \nSHOW TRAILER:\n \nPREVIEW CLIP:\n \nPERFORMANCE PHOTOS:\n\n \n \n \n \n THE CRIPPLE OF INISHMAAN (STUDIO\, July 23 – Aug. 20\, 2022)\nPHOTO 1: Carmen Tunis (EILEEN)\, Mary Price Moore (KATE)\n(Michael Hardy Photography)\n \n \n \n \n \n THE CRIPPLE OF INISHMAAN (STUDIO\, July 23 – Aug. 20\, 2022)\nPHOTO 2: Carmen Tunis (EILEEN)\, Mary Price Moore (KATE)\, Dylan La Rocque (BILLY)\n(Michael Hardy Photography)\n \n \n \n \n \n THE CRIPPLE OF INISHMAAN (STUDIO\, July 23 – Aug. 20\, 2022)\nPHOTO 3: Carmen Tunis (EILEEN)\, Ronan Walsh (BARTLEY)\n(Michael Hardy Photography)\n \n \n \n \n \n THE CRIPPLE OF INISHMAAN (STUDIO\, July 23 – Aug. 20\, 2022)\nPHOTO 4: Patrick Peterson (BABBYBOBBY)\n(Michael Hardy Photography)\n \n \n \n \n \n THE CRIPPLE OF INISHMAAN (STUDIO\, July 23 – Aug. 20\, 2022)\nPHOTO 5: Patrick Peterson (BABBYBOBBY)\, Karl Schott (JOHNNYPATEENMIKE)\n(Michael Hardy Photography)\n \n \n \n \n \n THE CRIPPLE OF INISHMAAN (STUDIO\, July 23 – Aug. 20\, 2022)\nPHOTO 6: Karl Schott (JOHNNYPATEENMIKE)\, Kip Hogan (MAMMY)\, Floyd Harden (DOCTOR McSHARRY)\n(Michael Hardy Photography)\n \n \n \n \n \n THE CRIPPLE OF INISHMAAN (STUDIO\, July 23 – Aug. 20\, 2022)\nPHOTO 7: Karl Schott (JOHNNYPATEENMIKE)\, Kip Hogan (MAMMY)\, Floyd Harden (DOCTOR McSHARRY)\n(Michael Hardy Photography)\n \n \n \n \n \n THE CRIPPLE OF INISHMAAN (STUDIO\, July 23 – Aug. 20\, 2022)\nPHOTO 8: Karl Schott (JOHNNYPATEENMIKE)\, Kip Hogan (MAMMY)\n(Michael Hardy Photography)\n \n \n \n \n \n THE CRIPPLE OF INISHMAAN (STUDIO\, July 23 – Aug. 20\, 2022)\nPHOTO 9: Makena Margolin (HELEN)\, Ronan Walsh (BARTLEY)\n(Michael Hardy Photography)\n \n \n \n \n \n THE CRIPPLE OF INISHMAAN (STUDIO\, July 23 – Aug. 20\, 2022)\nPHOTO 10: Dylan La Rocque (BILLY)\n(Michael Hardy Photography)\n \n \n \n \n \n THE CRIPPLE OF INISHMAAN (STUDIO\, July 23 – Aug. 20\, 2022)\nPHOTO 11: Ronan Walsh (BARTLEY)\, Carmen Tunis (EILEEN)\, Mary Price Moore (KATE)\, Dylan La Rocque (BILLY)\n(Michael Hardy Photography)\n \n \n \n \n \n THE CRIPPLE OF INISHMAAN (STUDIO\, July 23 – Aug. 20\, 2022)\nPHOTO 12: Karl Schott (JOHNNYPATEENMIKE)\n(Michael Hardy Photography)\n \n \n \n \n \n THE CRIPPLE OF INISHMAAN (STUDIO\, July 23 – Aug. 20\, 2022)\nPHOTO 13: Dylan La Rocque (BILLY)\, Makena Margolin (HELEN)\n(Michael Hardy Photography)\n \n \n \n \n \n THE CRIPPLE OF INISHMAAN (STUDIO\, July 23 – Aug. 20\, 2022)\nPHOTO 14: Patrick Peterson (BABBYBOBBY)\, Ronan Walsh (BARTLEY)\, Makena Margolin (HELEN)\, Carmen Tunis (EILEEN)\, Dylan La Rocque (BILLY)\, Mary Price Moore (KATE)\, Karl Schott (JOHNNYPATEENMIKE)\, Kip Hogan (MAMMY)\, Floyd Harden (DOCTOR McSHARRY)\n(Michael Hardy Photography)\n \n \n \n \nA BIG THANK YOU TO THE PORT OF LONG BEACH FOR SPONSORING OUR OPENING NIGHT GALA!

Did the world’s greatest sleuth fake his own death? Who’s the real detective and who are the imposters? \nCASTING THE FOLLOWING ROLES:\nNOTE:  All Roles will require a British Accent. \nWATSON (M\, 40s-50s) Any ethnicity. Polite\, reserved\, detail oriented\, everything you’d expect from Sherlock Holmes’ sidekick. However\, he is also seemingly a bit at the end of his rope\, having suffered many personal losses as of late. He presents himself as Watson in an unfamiliar role\, that of the sidekick on his own. He displays a surprising fortitude to make a go of it without Sherlock and is several steps ahead of the situation at all times. (Role Requires a British Accent) \nDR. EVANS (M\, 40s-50s)  Any ethnicity. Silky and officious\, he is the man in charge of an Asylum on an isolated island. No nonsense and intense\, but with an English gentleman’s demeanor. His assertive charm is mysterious and commanding (Role Requires a British Accent) \nORDERLY/MORIARTY/INSPECTOR  (M\, 40s-50s) Any ethnicity. One of Dr. Evans’s assistants. Dark\, mysterious\, and very observant. Says little but sees much. He wears an asylum employee uniform./ Sherlock’s nemesis and suspect at the incident at Reichenbach Falls. He is an older man with a dark and quizzical personality.  / Once a comrade of Sherlock’s\, he is the one who inspects the incident at the masque ball. Has very prominent black muttonchops. (Role Requires a British Accent) \nMATRON/THE WOMAN (F\, 35-50) Any ethnicity.  Dr. Evans’s other assistant. She wears her own version of the employee uniform\, with her hair in a bun. She carries an almost chilly\, robotic demeanor. / A beautiful and mysterious woman at the masque ball\, helps Client steal a document from Fonseca. (Role Requires a British Accent) \nHOLMES 1/THE CLIENT (M\, 40s-50s) The first of the three Holmes to arrive at the asylum and to be interviewed\, Patient 1 presents the demeanor we expect of Holmes; he is brusque and rather forward with Watson. He wears a jacket\, vest and slacks and looks almost identical to the Holmes we all know. / A sinister man who approaches The Woman with a proposition to steal a document from Signor Fonseca. (Role Requires a British Accent) \nHOLMES 2 (M\, 40s-50s) The second Holmes is disheveled\, restless and exhibits the skeptical nature of Sherlock Holmes. He wears a straitjacket and has long hair. (Role Requires a British Accent) \nHOLMES 3/SIGNOR FONSECA (M\, 40s-50s) The third Holmes also looks similar to the Holmes Watson remembers\, but his head is shaved. He does not speak\, nor can he appear to hear. His gaze is always forward\, as he is in a catatonic state. / A jealous Italian man with a thick accent and a curly black mustache. He is a performer at the masque ball. (Role may require actor to shave their head. Requires a British Accent)

In a large city a terrible water shortage\, caused by a 20-year drought\, has led to a government-enforced ban on private toilets. The citizens must use public amenities\, regulated by a single malevolent company that profits by charging admission for one of humanity’s most basic needs. Amid the people\, a hero decides that he’s had enough and plans a revolution to lead them all to freedom! This irreverently humorous “comedic romp” reinvigorates the very notion of what a musical could be\, with wickedly modern wit and sustained unbridled laughter! \nCASTING THE FOLLOWING ROLES:\nNOTE: Actively seeking all ethnicities for all roles  \nBOBBY STRONG (M\, 20-30\, A2-C5) The dashing\, rebellious everyman who works for Miss Pennywise at the poorest\, filthiest town urinal. Bold\, brash\, and larger than life in many ways. \nLITTLE SALLY (F\, 20-40\, A3-E5) A precocious and irreverent street urchin. She serves as a quasi-narrator who often questions Lockstock and the play’s logic. \nPENELOPE PENNYWISE (F\, 35+\, A3-C6) The tough\, jaded warden of the poorest\, filthiest town urinal. She is Cladwell’s one-time lover and mother to Hope who eventually softens her temper. \nCALDWELL B. BLADWELL (M\, 50+\, A2-G4) The Evil president and owner of the Urine Good Company. He is a miserly money-grubber who gleefully exploits the poor. \nSENATOR FIPP (M\, 40+\, C#3-F4) A greedy politician in Cladwell’s pocket. A bumbling coward. \nJOSEPH “Old Man” STRONG (M\, 50+\, A2-F4) Bobby’s rebellious father. His refusal to pay the fee sends him to Urinetown\, ultimately launching the revolution. Doubles as HOT BLADES HARRY\, one of the Poor. He is a psychopathic and can become a violent loose cannon. \nOFFICER BARREL (M\, 30+\, G2-F4) Lockstock’s patrol partner. A thuggish and aggressive policeman. \nJOSEPHINE “Ma” STRONG (F\, 50+\, Bb3-D5) Bobby’s mother and Joseph’s wife.
