DESCRIPTION:
9/10ths is an award-winning anthology of nine 10-minute scenes that take the
audience into the brain of playwright Greg Atkins. In Tempus Fugit, a time-travel comedy, Gary wants to propose, until his girlfriend–from the future—arrives to try and stop him. A corporate team building outing goes horribly wrong in Loanly Ladies. Then there is Bunnies, where two friends meet in a hotel room, one on the run and the other there to arrest him in a sweet and humorous look at friends facing the inevitable. Swipe is a fast and funny look at the modern world of dating. These, plus five other playlets take the audience on a wild ride through a variety of styles, characters and worlds.
This production is part of the LBP Studio Collaborative Season and is being produced by an outside Theatre Group. All inquires about the show should be made to that group’s producer:

TEMPUS FUGIT – 1m – 2f
A girlfriend from the future travels back in time to stop her boyfriend from asking to marry her.
DUTY – 2m – 1f
A super soldier, a District Attorney, and her thought-to-be-dead brother walk into an interrogation room…
BUNNIES – 2m
In a seedy motel room, a veteran police officer and his childhood friend deal with his friends impulsive bank robbery and the death of his wife.
THE EXCHANGE – 1f – 1m
A newly divorced couple do their first custody exchange in the parking lot of a 7/11.
LOANLY LADIES – 2f – 1m
Two women on a corporate retreat realize that improv exercises and trust falls do not make a better employee
LOVE – 2f – 1m
Mom and Dad have to deal with their adult child (who is on the spectrum) desires for romance
SWEET BABY NAMES – 1m – 1f
A husband and wife wait until the last minute to come up with a name for their baby.
FACETIME – 1f – 2m
Woman deals with her infidelity with her co-worker as her military finance is in Middle East.
SWIPE -1m – 1f
10 quick-change scenes about online dating.
