Description: 

In association with the Oscar-winning producer of David Lynch’s The Elephant Man and Mel Brooks’ The Producers, along with the Tony-nominated producer of Broadway’s Buena Vista Social Club,  IT’S A BIRD… IT’S A PLANE… IT’S SUPERMAN! THE MUSICAL is flying in to Long Beach. Written by the same team behind the Oscar-winning films Richard Donner’s Superman and Bonnie and Clyde, and with a score composed by the guys behind Annie and Bye Bye Birdie, this rarely seen musical comedy features the man of steel like you’ve never seen him before: with jazz hands!

Company Statement:

Foster Cat Productions is a Los Angeles based theatre company, founded by alumni of Atlantic Theater Company’s conservatory program in NYC. Our mission is to highlight lesser-known works in the theatre, in an effort to unearth culturally relevant pieces that might have been forgotten or overshadowed by the often over produced classics, joining audiences and artists together in enriching and broadening the horizons of the artform.

The LBP Studio Collaborative Season offers outside, local theatre companies and performing arts organizations the opportunity to produce their own shows in our Studio Theater.
